Michael Jackson was born on 29 August 1958 in Gary Indiana, USA. His
time of birth is known by many, but they all offer different times of
day though. I have arbitrarily set it for sunrise - as he rose like
the Sun! He had a difficult and stormy life, and lived his life in
the spotlight - he wasn't allowed a real childhood, which is presumably
why he needed "Neverland" so much. His life had been continual work
from the age of five.
He had his Sun in Virgo and (irrespective of the time of birth) his
Moon was in Pisces. This brings out an interesting combination of
thought and feeling which in part has a "Peter Pan" element. How would
we have written for anyone born at that time? Well let us see . . .
The Sun lies in Virgo in your horoscope. So in character you are cool,
crafty and critical - and you are also a worrier! You tend to use
reason to understand the world and despise bias and bigotry. You have
high ideals - and find that few people reach them! You like to be
useful in life and can be fairly demure and undemonstrative. As far as
your motivations in life are concerned, you need to be efficient, neat
and tidy and like to see a job well done.
Next comes the Moon which was in Pisces when you were born. This refers
to your emotional disposition. You have a yielding, impressionable,
easy-going disposition. Also, very imaginative and will often live as
much in fantasy as in reality. Emotionally you are indecisive and want
to be guided by others, but in general you react to life in an affable,
charitable way, not wanting to cause problems and in turn not wanting
other people's problems to complicate your life either! You can be
spiritually-minded and sometimes may feel you have a psychic streak in
your nature.
These paragraphs seem to strike the right note, but when we continue
and consider communicative Mercury, artistic and feeling Venus and
energetic Mars, then further (musical) chords are struck . . .
Mercury represents your intelligence. It lies in Leo, and it follows
that your mind is wide-ranging and full of vision, although rather poor
on detail. You like to think big, but your ideas can be dogmatic,
especially if personal honour is at stake. You can be taken in by the
glamour of an idea, but fail to see its practical defects. You tend to
be rather self-opinionated, keen to hear your own voice, bombastic and
rather overbearing at times, preferring to dominate a discussion if
possible.
The next planet, Venus, is the key to your love life. It lies in Leo,
which means that you are a big-hearted sort of person, full of
self-love but needing loyal and genuine affection. You like glamorous
things and are drawn to beautiful people. But you can get badly hurt if
a love goes wrong and if you are jilted you will be broken-hearted. You
love going to the theatre and other nightspots as well as the seaside
and in general love warm, glowing colors. Your ideal day would be to
spend it being adored on the beach and then wining and dining in the
evening!
The complementary planet to Venus is Mars, which is the symbol for
energy and vitality in your birth-chart. Because it lies in Taurus, it
means that your life force is deep and sustained. You have plenty of
physical stamina and once your desires are aroused they don't go away
in a hurry. You have a constructive energy which isn't wasteful or
extravagant. You're very possessive and are capable of giving
protection to loved ones. You are slowly roused to anger, but once
breaking-point is reached, all hell breaks loose! Strangely enough, you
are rather good at soothing other people who are in a tantrum.
Without his time of birth there is an element of speculation as to
which planets would be more visible in his horoscope, but his Neptune
must be prominent - it plays so much in his life story. . .
As for Neptune, it's in Scorpio, where, very broadly, it suggests that
you may have powerful sexual dreams, or dramatic nightmares about
powerful figures. You may have an emotional weakness for fascinating,
mysterious people whom you seem transfixed by.
Illusion was very important in his acts, and this is why we would
expect that Neptune would be prominent in his birthchart. The Moonwalk
was a personal signature movement with the illusion was that the dancer
is stepping forward while actually moving backward. He first presented
it during his performance of his probably one of his more significant
songs "Billie Jean". Also do you remember the innovative "anti-gravity
lean" in his performances of Smooth Criminal. His sometimes bizarre
appearance had media speculation running wild with the lightening of
his skin colour. A popular name for a time in the tabloid press was
Whacko Jacko.
Another keyword of Neptune is speculation. His sexuality was the
centre of speculation and stories galore - he exuded sexuality in his
videos but seemed somehow sexless in life. He had sexual accusations
placed against hime at different times, and his first marriage to Lisa
Marie Presley coincided with a follow-up to one of these. This lasted
a decent period of a year. He married another young woman (Debbie
Rowe) it is said as a marriage of convenience - it was speculated that
it was to repair his image and give him children. He did get the
desired-for children (Prince Michael and Paris). The marriage then
broke up with a generous but undisclosed settlement.
There was a nightmare of a court case involving paedophilic complaints
which commenced on November 2003, which dragged on and on in the
press. Finally in June 2005 he was totally acquitted by a jury.
He has staunch friends amongst them Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor.
He was planning an amazing major tour - perhaps partly dictated by possible money worries, but perhaps because he wanted to get out and perform and get that adrenaline rush that must have been a large factor in his life. Journalistic insiders wondered whether he would be able to take the physical strain after a long period of artistic inactivity, and this may have added pressure to get fit and ready for the project.
His sudden death awaits explanation, and the expected delay of 6-8
weeks for autopsy results will add fuel to rumors and there will be
conspiracy theories. At his death,Jupiter, Neptune and the planetoid
Chiron where all just opposed to his Sun-sign ruler Mercury and this is
descriptive of this but also of the incredible outpouring of public
grief - something like when with similar suddenness, Princess Diana
died.
His artistic legacy remains. The titles alone evoke powerful memories
such as: Thriller, Bad, Dangerous. He was called The King of Pop.
