Mercury contra-parallels Saturn on Monday and whilst this can bring disappointing news and onerous written or mental tasks, it can also give the persistence and focus to concentrate on a problem; those born about 9 March, 2 April, 11 September and 5 October will have to deal with this more than most.


Mercury then sesqui-quadrates Jupiter on Tuesday which is a marked contrast - whilst Saturn restricted, Jupiter enlarges and exaggerates. There can be a tendency to be lackadaisical and hope that all will be right on the day! Those with their birthdays about 9 February, 26 March, 11 May, 27 June, 13 August, 28 September, 12 November and 27 December may find the day getting out of their control, and if they rely on luck, then they may well be let down.

On Wednesday energetic Mars sesqui-quadrates Jupiter and emotional Venus semi-squares Saturn - these aspects are quite contrasting in nature. The former aspect can suggest going hell for leather at a project and quite overdoing it - and those born about 9 February, 26 March, 11 May, 27 June, 13 August, 28 September, 12 November and 27 December may well go over the top. The other is emotionally restrained, and some relationships may have an awkward phase, and in particular those with their birthdates about 
28 January, 14 March, 29 April, 14 June, 1 August, 16 September, 1 November and 15 December.

Expect some arguments and mental discord on Thursday when Mercury squares Mars; for the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) this is mother’s milk, and they will thrive on the volatility of situations they get into, and especially those with their birthdays about 26 March, 27 June, 29 September and 28 December.

Friday is the day of the Full Moon and this traditionally heightens emotions and makes people more careless and excitable - this time it coincides with Venus both contra-parallel Pluto and also sesqui-quadrate Uranus - a dangerous time for the stability of relationships; if they are at all uncertain, then this allows doubt to surface in a rather explosive manner. The tensions will more readily affect the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) and for birthdates about 4 March, 3 June, 5 September and 5 December hold on to your temper and intend to weather the storm of the day. The Venus upsets highlight the following birthdates: 30 January, 16 March, 1/12 May, 17 June, 2/3 August, 18 September, 3/13 November and 17 December - it indicates secrets coming into the open. New secrets may emerge, but this is not the time to exacerbate anything by owning up to any past indiscretion if they were otherwise unaware of it!

The Sun sesqui-quadrates Node on Saturday and doing things with other people may be desirable but perhaps a little unsettling too (highlighted birthdates being about 18 January, 4 March, 18 April, 4 June, 21 July, 6 September, 21 October and 5 December).

Finally on Sunday Mars sesqui-quadrates Chiron and this is a good time to do some of those in-house jobs and people born about 12 February, 28 March, 14 May, 30 June, 16 August, 1 October, 15 November and 29 December should try to finish each job before starting another one - multi-tasking may be good, but scattered energies are not.
